Just a quick update on the weekend at Brands Hatch BSB round 1
I thought we were behind with everything but it soon became apparent we were far moor organised and our bike was better prepared than most teams and our setup looked really impressive,
The First practice was wet and Jimbo came out straight away with a good pace, the bike was a little bit sharp on the throttle so we made some adjustments and he went back out and stayed out so he could get some laps in and get used to the bike, at the end off the practice he was 13th fastest out of all the superbikes and 3rd fastesed in the evo class, So that was good and we were all happy,
The second practice was dry and we made some adjustments with the bike, harder springs and slick tyres and so on and Jimbo was just starting to build his speed when he had a massive high side (I will attach some pictures) and unfortunately he broke his arm, James will have a operation to pin and plate the bones today and will be back on the bike as soon as possible,
James is a little upset and he feels he has let everyone down but I can assure him that is not the case racing is racing and these things can happen what matters is how we respond to it,
Redline KTM rebuilt the bike and stayed at the track so to meet all of you that came along and James got out of hospital in time to sign autographs and do all the PR stuff I think we still did a good job for all sponsors and KTM.
So the question is what we will do for the next round well I will let you all know soon as we make a final decision.
Yours truly
Tim Walker
